Courtney King Plant Hire and Groundworks are a valued One Point Survey customer who recently decided to step up to Leica 3D Machine Control from the iDig 2D touch system.
They asked One Point Survey to provide the 3D Machine Control technology on the dozers & excavators they planned to use on a big job they had for a new client, Cormac Ltd, working on a new road and infrastructure in Newquay.
The main reason they wanted to make this step was for the speed and ease-of-use that Leica’s 3D Machine Control technology offers and also the clarity it provides for quantifying works.

The Leica MC1 system has allowed the team to achieve faster results with a higher level of accuracy. This has also come with a greater level of safety on site.
For these reasons, they are now looking to add more Leica machine control to their expanding fleet.
