HxGN SmartNet is an integrated 24/7 GNSS Network RTK and DGNSS correction service, built on the world’s largest reference network, enabling GNSS-capable devices to quickly determine precise positions.
With more than 4,000 reference stations based on Leica Geosystems precision accuracy can be ensured in every application.
The system is used by many professionals across surveying, construction agriculture, logistics and automotive industries.
How It Works
The HxGN SmartNet family of services is powered by three primary technologies: network RTK, RTK bridging and precise point positioning (PPP).
Network RTK
GNSS satellites broadcast signals, send data to reference stations and GNSS devices around the globe. Reference stations stream the GNSS data to the HxGN SmartNet data centres, which also receive approximate positions of GNSS devices.
RTK Bridging
RTK bridging ensures GNSS devices can continue receiving corrections data even when users experience temporary connection losses to the internet, regional reference station networks or a local base station.
Precise Point Positioning
Precise point positioning (PPP) technology makes it possible to achieve centimetre-level accuracy in real-time on any continent when there is no base station and connection to a regional reference station network or mobile internet is unavailable.
